Viney Pond
Viney Pond Hunting Club was established in 1988 and has been managed intensely for over 30 years to provide some of the best loafing and resting habitat for ducks in the entire Obion River Basin. With parking less than 20 yards from a brand new boat dock and with gravel underfoot from truck to pier, hunters will immediately appreciate the convenience of a Viney Pond excursion. A five minute boat ride will have you unloading into the spacious Field Blind or River Blinds, both 24' by 12' traditionally styled custom floating duck blinds with a 7’ double pitched ceiling designed to reduce bumped noggins. As first light peaks over the shooting rail and you peer out of your shooting hole the two blinds' natural beauty will be on full display. Nestled amongst a cluster of small willow trees, or tucked into the shadows of the Obion River bank, you'll be surrounded by 500 acres of flooded cypress, willow, and oak forest. Standing corn and millet strategically placed throughout the farm along with natural mast, mollusk, and vegetation provide the diversity that is key to keeping a wide variety of waterfowl coming back year after year. “Let the wind be your friend,” at Viney Pond Hunting Club. Most hunts will be with Sam or Daniel. The beautifully and newly renovated Hall House and Blinds at this location accommodate groups of up to 5 (larger groups may be accommodated upon request).
